Minimum Requirements

Overseas Hiring:

Require only candidates currently outside of Qatar.

Education:

Full-time Bachelor Degree in one of the following:

  • Sport Science
  • Exercise Science
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Physiotherapy
  • Kinesiology
  • Human Performance

and Post Graduate Diploma / Internationally Accredited Certificate in Exercise Physiology

Licensing:

Must hold a valid home-country license to practice.

Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar.

Essential Experience:

2+ years clinical experience in cardiovascular, pulmonary or metabolic disorders.

 

Specification

 

This role supports patients with cardiovascular, metabolic, and chronic conditions by delivering individualized, evidence-based exercise programs.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll conduct risk assessments, supervise treatment sessions, and promote long-term behavior change through education, motivation, and ongoing support.

You will also contribute to the development of cardiac rehab services, clinical research, and program evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized exercise prescriptions and home programs
  • Design and supervise exercise sessions, ensuring patient safety and adherence
  • Conduct exercise stress testing in coordination with medical staff
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust programs accordingly
  • Educate patients and families on exercise, risk factors, and long-term health
  • Provide psychological and motivational support during sessions
  • Identify and respond to cardiovascular distress; lead emergency procedures
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and team meetings
  • Maintain accurate patient care records and documentation
  • Contribute to program evaluation and clinical research in cardiac rehabilitation
  • Support in-service training and ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of cardiac rehab programs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
