GM Recruiting seeking a seasoned Engineering Project Controls Specialist to support the design and construction of large-scale healthcare and infrastructure developments. We are looking for a high-performing individual with strong analytical capabilities, technical expertise, and experience driving project performance through effective cost and schedule control.
We are seeking a Project Controls professional with a deep understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management across major building and civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of project control systems, a proven record of successful execution in complex environments, and a particular advantage if they have worked on healthcare-related construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Demonstrated expertise in Project Controls Software, including Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, and Risk Analysis tools
Advanced knowledge of Critical Path Methodology, project budgeting, forecasting, and earned value analysis
Full proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Membership and/or certification with a recognized project management body such as PMP, PMI, or APM
Minimum of 15 years’ experience as a Project Controls specialist, including oversight of cost, schedule, and risk on major buildings and infrastructure projects
Direct involvement in design and construction phases, managing project controls functions such as cost phasing, planning, progress monitoring, reporting, risk assessment, change management, invoice validation, and project close-out
Track record of working on healthcare infrastructure projects is a distinct advantage
Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills
Comprehensive understanding of industry and international standards, with the ability to apply them to discipline-specific project control requirements
This role demands a strategic thinker with operational discipline and the ability to manage complexity across multi-phased construction initiatives.
