The all-inclusive monthly total salary of 24,875 QAR is structured as follows:

  • Basic Salary: 23,625 QAR

Minimum Requirements

Overseas Hiring:

Require only candidates currently outside of Qatar.

Education & Experience: 

Full-time Bachelor’s in Public Health with specialization in Epidemiology with 5 Years in healthcare out of which 3 years in Epidemiology or Medical Statistics.

OR

Full-time Master’s in Public Health with specialization in Epidemiology 4 Years in healthcare out of which 2 years in Epidemiology or Medical Statistics.

Proficiency in tools:

Like SPSS, STATA, R, or SAS, along with strong analytical and reporting skills.

 

Specification
The Epidemiologist supports national health efforts by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide public health decision-making.
The role is central to disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, and monitoring health trends to improve patient outcomes and system-wide responses.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct epidemiological studies to track disease trends and evaluate public health interventions.
  • Perform surveillance and analysis of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
  • Design and implement data collection systems and analytical reports.
  • Lead outbreak investigations and prepare response recommendations.
  • Use statistical tools (SPSS, STATA, R, SAS) to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and publications for stakeholders.
  • Support national accreditation and quality improvement programs with data-driven assessments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, researchers, and policymakers on health initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and ethical standards in all epidemiological work.
  • Perform additional duties related to public health as assigned.
